Baker Yiga Matovu
Baker Yiga Matovu is the ANEW Executive Secretary.
Prior that, Baker worked as the ANEW Regional coordinator for Eastern Region. Before joining ANEW, he has worked for WaterAid Uganda as a policy analyst since 2004 and has also worked for SOS Children Villages Uganda, Save the Children Denmark and PLAN International.
He is pursuing a masters degree in public Administration and Management from Makerere University and has over ten years of experience of working with civil society organizations and collaborating with government departments.
Paul Oyugi is the ANEW Finance Officer since late 2009. Paul is certified in Public Accountant and has over 13 years’ experience working in Accountancy and Finance. Before joining ANEW, Paul worked as Finance and Administration Officer with an NGO called Africa Partnership Aid For Rehabilitation & Development (APARD) dealing with supply of farm inputs to Southern Sudan. Paul has also worked as an Auditor with Donald Marks and Associates, in a school and in a Manufacturing firm both as Accounts Assistant. firstname.lastname@example.org
Balkissa Idé Siddo
Communications and Information Officer
Balkissa Ide Siddo joined ANEW in late April 2013 as Information & Communications Officer. Bilingual French and English, Balkissa has a strong background in campaigning, advocacy, marketing and communications in Africa & Asia with both Private and NGO Sector. Before ANEW, she was associated as Campaigner with NIYEL Agency, as business
analyst with Grail Research (India) and also as junior
consultant for various UNIDO programs on restructuring, upgrading and
industrial competitiveness in Senegal.
Balkissa holds a Masters degree in Marketing & Strategy from Centre Africain d’Etudes Supérieures en Gestion (CESAG-Senegal) and a Bachelor in Marketing and Communications from Institut Supérieur de Manaagement (ISM-Senegal). email@example.com
